Pink Walk 2026 to Raise Awareness About Breast Cancer

Kathmandu: The ‘Pink Walk 2026’ will be held to raise awareness about the early detection and timely treatment of breast cancer.

The walk, organized in collaboration with Infinite Cares and Cancer Care Nepal, will begin at 6 a.m. on Saturday, Ashoj 17, from Kathmandu Durbar Square in Basantapur and conclude at Patan Durbar Square in Mangal Bazaar, Lalitpur.

According to the organizers, health professionals, cancer survivors, affected families, representatives of various organizations, journalists and members of the general public will participate in the event. The program aims to promote early detection and treatment of breast cancer and highlight the need for social and emotional support for affected individuals and their families.

This will be the second edition of the Pink Walk. More than 600 people participated in the inaugural edition.
