The machinery was used to break through rocks and construct around 1,050 metres of access road to the tunnel, according to the Nepal Army.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">During the removal of mud and debris, the team discovered water flowing from inside the tunnel at a point about 70 metres in. Rescue personnel entered through the opening and searched up to around 130 metres inside. However, rising water reaching the upper section of the tunnel made it difficult to operate the excavator.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">On Wednesday, a team including divers entered through the opening and searched up to the far end of the tunnel, where they discovered three bodies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Two of the bodies have been recovered and brought outside, while efforts are underway to retrieve the remaining body, the Army said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Army, the rescue team managed to make a breakthrough into the tunnel while clearing the accumulated mud and debris.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rasuwa: Three bodies have been found inside a tunnel of the Chilime Hydropower Project during a search and rescue operation following the floods in Rasuwa.
