The decision was taken at an all-party meeting called by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane.<\/p>\n<p>Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) parliamentary party leader Gyanendra Shahi said the mechanism will include representatives from all political parties represented in Parliament. The meeting agreed to request the Speaker to initiate the process and form the mechanism within a week.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting also discussed the legal provision concerning the declaration of missing persons as deceased following disasters. Under the existing law, a missing person can generally be declared dead only after 12 years.
