Kanchanpur : An awareness-raising street drama against drug abuse and suicide was staged at various locations in Krishnapur Municipality of Kanchanpur.
The performances aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug use on individuals, families and society. The street drama was presented in schools and communities with a focus on children and young people.
The program was organized by Navarasa Rangamanch Dhangadhi with financial support from the Integrated Project Framework (IPF), implemented in partnership between World Vision Nepal and the Nepal National Social Welfare Association (NNSWA).

The drama highlighted the psychological impact on parents when children become addicted to drugs, as well as the social consequences of drug abuse among young people.

The street drama was conceptualized and directed by Surendra Sangam (Dotyali Baddo), director of Navarasa Rangamanch. The cast included Dotyali Baddo, Ramita Bista, Khagen BC, Raymond (Doteli Hero), Yubaraj Joshi, Supriya Giri, Janak Bajureli, Kamal Singh and Nisha Niru.
